Fabio Lopez began his career at the Colombian Air Force as of materials and aircraft structures,
before becoming the expert in airframes.
Fabio has worked in the aviation industry for 34 years. He worked as a technician in tactical aircraft
Maintenance (Kfir-C5/C12), Aircraft Hydraulic Systems and Aircraft Structural Maintenance.
Fabio continued his career in administrative areas of Colombian Air Force in 1996, as the technical
representative for the purchasing technical material of aircrafts and helicopters.

Fabio held a variety of positions in your aviation career, as Contracting advisory, financial
management & Controller, advisory in International Commerce, leading quality Control,
Administrative Manager, head logistic Section, leader advisory in quality ISO 9001.
Fabio is a graduate of New Granada Military University (Colombia) and has a degree in Business
Administration (2010).

Fabio Lopez is owner and founder of GestFly USA, Inc since April 2012, and is currently President
& Chief Executive Officer.

In 2021, Gestfly USA, Inc., became a FAA 14 CFR Part 145 Approved Landing Gear, Accessories,
and Airframe Component Repair station, tasked with ensuring a successful in provision MRO
services in the industry aviation, and in particular perform of aircraft maintenance with safe,
mitigate the chain of error, to do best work, and to guarantee the aerial operations
